Sunita Raj
Sun Bollywood is the Bay Area’s favorite Bollywood Dance School—a joyful, energetic community built on rhythm, culture, and connection. Founded in 2012 by Sunita Raj, the school began with a simple but powerful vision: to create a space where the vibrant spirit of Bollywood dance could be celebrated, shared, and passed on to dancers of all ages. Sunita’s passion for blending traditional Indian dance roots with modern Bollywood flair continues to shape everything we do.

We also partner with select schools to provide engaging after‑school Bollywood dance programs, making it easier for young dancers to explore movement and creativity.
Our Signature Events
Every year, our community comes together for SUNSATIONAL, our grand annual Bollywood‑style dance showcase. This vibrant event features dancers of all ages and celebrates their hard work, talent, and love for the art. We also host Winter Recitals each November, giving students another opportunity to shine on stage. And for our youngest dancers, our Summer Camps—held every June and July—are packed with fun, learning, and unforgettable memories.
