Students will be exposed to different genres of music such as Hindustani classical ragas, alankars, sargam geet, Bollywood & Hollywood popular songs. This class is designed to familiarize students with swar concept and notation. Advancing to raags such as Yaman, Bhupali, and more where students will be introduced to the concept of alaap singing, bandish singing, boltaan, bol alaap, and fast taankari.
